What's included in the package price?
A dedicated babysitter for the whole week (40h), a structured daily programme, mobility indoors and out, a daily report to parents and civil-liability insurance. Tickets for BS Partner activities (museums, surf, theatre, etc.), transport, meals out and personal equipment are paid directly by the family.
How does nanny share work?
Two or three children share the same babysitter and the same programme, paying less per child. The children don't have to belong to the same household — they can be from different families — but a designated responsible adult must be identified for them. We help find compatible families within the BS network.
Is it the same babysitter all week?
Yes — that's the heart of the programme. The same professional is with the child the 5 weekdays, 9am to 6pm. She knows their interests, pace and temperament, and adapts the plan from day 2. Not rotating.
How does the Live-In Nanny upgrade work?
It's a complementary weekly package where the babysitter stays in the home 24h/day for 7 days — perfect for family holidays, intensive weeks or continuous care. Flat rate: €650 Lisbon, €820 Algarve, €920 Alentejo. The rate matches the babysitter's recruitment zone — a Lisbon professional who joins the family in the Algarve keeps the Lisbon rate. The family covers the babysitter's accommodation and meals for the week (private bedroom recommended).
Can I cancel if something comes up?
Yes — free cancellation up to 7 days before the booked week. The confirmation deposit becomes a credit toward another week within the summer.
How do I book? How long does it take?
In three steps: (1) reach out by email or via the website; (2) pick zone, number of weeks and children; (3) confirm with a deposit. Early Bird requires booking confirmation by 31 May 2026.
Which zones are available?
Lisbon, Porto and the rest of the country share the same standard rate (€7.50/h). The Algarve, Alentejo and the Islands (Madeira and Azores) have a different rate — the Algarve and Islands share the same value. Reach out to confirm availability for a specific zone.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Booking has to be confirmed with a deposit at least 7 days before the start date. In peak season (July/August) we recommend booking earlier to secure a babysitter in your area. Early Bird requires confirmation by 31 May 2026.
