Occasional babysitting services

The occasional service is ideal for specific moments — it can be requested at any time and on any day of the week, offering total flexibility. Perfect for unexpected situations, special events, or when you need some time to yourself.

Our babysitters are available for occasional services in Lisbon, Porto, Alentejo, Algarve, Azores, and Madeira. If necessary, we also provide services in other parts of the country.

We have a minimum requirement of 3 hours. However, whether you need a few extra hours for a longer outing or a whole day off, we will be here, always ready to help parents!

At Baby Sisters, each babysitter can look after up to three children at the same time, always ensuring safety and personalized attention. However, when it comes to children under the age of 3, the limit is two children per babysitter, to ensure close, safe, and loving supervision.

Our educational play activities promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, always adapted to the age and interests of each child. We guarantee a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where learning and playing go hand in hand.

At Baby Sisters, we believe that trust comes from communication. That's why all interactions between parents and babysitters take place directly on our app, in a safe and convenient way.

We are always looking for the perfect solution, so we first check if the babysitter you already know is available for the special requests indicated. But if that is not possible, we choose another babysitter to ensure that everything runs smoothly!

Absolutely! Communication is the key to a trusting relationship. We always share the babysitter's contact details with parents so they can chat, ask questions, and even warn them about their children's tricks. You can also chat with your assigned babysitter on the web app.

Our process follows these steps: We need some key information, such as the days and times you need, the location of the service, the number and ages of the children, and any requirements to be taken into account. Once we have gathered all this information, we will send you a quote for your approval. Once approved, we will proceed to payment and, as soon as this is confirmed, we will begin our recruitment and selection process.

Our process is simple, but very demanding, because we want babysitters with the right powers for each mission! First, we conduct a kind of investigation within our team to identify who is available for the mission, taking into account schedules, the days required, the location, and the ages of the children. Then, we meet with our babysitters to match their superpowers with the needs of the assignment. It's like choosing the perfect heroes for a great adventure. In the end, we select the incredible babysitter who is best suited for the assignment requested by the parents.

If it is something you can plan in advance, we recommend booking 2 to 5 days in advance. However, if it is an emergency, we are ready to act with only 24 hours' notice, subject to an urgency fee, so that we can prioritize your service.

Initially, we provide an estimate based on the information provided to us. The final amount may be equal to the estimate, lower, or even slightly higher, depending on the location, number of days, and hours requested.

Within a 10km radius of city centers such as Lisbon, Porto, Albufeira, Alcácer do Sal, and Funchal, transportation is already included in the package. However, if your adventure takes you beyond these regions, additional transportation services will be charged separately.

We usually respond to all email requests within a few hours.

If you feel that the babysitter and your family's routines don't match, just let us know! Simply inform us of your wishes, and we will find a new babysitter who matches your family's routine. After all, the important thing is that everyone has fun and feels happy!

If you wish to cancel the service less than 24 hours before the start date, you will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the service price. If you cancel between 24 hours and 7 days before the start date, you will be subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the service price.

We always have a backup plan to ensure babysitting in last-minute situations.

This is something we always take into consideration. For occasional services, if the babysitter is unavailable, we will inform you and, with your consent, send you a new profile. For regular part-time and full-time services, we always select the same babysitter for the desired period. If something unexpected happens, we will always send you a new profile for your approval.

Yes! Our referral program allows you to earn unlimited credits to use on our babysitting services. If you invite your friends to try Baby Sisters' services, you both win. You receive a €20 discount for each friend who uses one of our services. Your friend also gets a €10 discount on their first use. Just recommend, book, and earn. Simply log in to the app after registering, go to your Wallet, and you will find the code to copy and share with your friends.
